The Shugo Festival runs every hour, and its coins buy Daevanion points (100 coins = 1 point, up to 50) among other things. Spirit Games' tip: of the festival's minigames, pick Hidden Lugi, because the points come from orbs that spawn in the same places every round. Go to those places and you place first most rounds.
The rules (game client)
Everyone is turned into a Shugo or a Lugi:
- Lugi collect Odyle Drops for points and hide from the Shugo. Skills: "Quick!" and "Do I look like a Lugi?" (disguise).
- Shugo hunt fake Lugi; catching one is worth a lot of points. Skills: "Capture Lugi!" and "Detect fakes!".
Who starts as which is random.
The route
- Starting as Lugi: run around collecting orbs; being tagged doesn't matter much this early. He says starting as Shugo is better.
- As Shugo: go straight to the first red-orb ("chaos orb") spot on the right side of the map and wait there. Red orbs appear in the same place every round. Take as many as you can before anyone else.
- Move to the second red spot, then the one on the left side of the map. One group of red orbs is already worth a big jump in score; after these three he was over 1,000.
- Now tag the Lugi running around.
- As Lugi, go back to the spot near where you started: purple orbs, Lugi only and worth more, spawn there. Use the disguise skill so Shugo leave you alone, and keep charging (sprinting) while you collect.
- Then the left side for the rest of the purple orbs, and the middle of the map if any are left.
He finished at about 2,600 points, in first place.
Rewards
- One key claims the reward four times: either the same card four times or four different ones.
- [Creator tip] If you finish below 2nd, he cancels the claim and leaves rather than taking a low reward, then queues for the next round.
- [Community] Do every minigame 3 times first for the Shugo Festival achievements (Achievements → Exploration → Shugo Festival), then farm Hidden Lugi.
