Inactive accounts (6 months)
NCSOFT may delete the characters on an account when both are true:
- 6 months or more since the account last logged in to AION 2, and
- the account's paid service period has ended.
- NCSOFT announces the schedule and details before any deletion.
- Characters and names deleted this way can't be restored.
- Logging in once before 6 months pass, or having paid time running, keeps you outside the rule.
Inactive character names (30 days)
NCSOFT may reset the name (the character stays) of:
- characters on accounts with no payment history and no login for 30 days or more, and
- characters on permanently suspended accounts.
It's announced first, and a reset name can't be restored. Any purchase on the account takes it out of the first condition.
Legions
- An inactive Legion's name can be reset after 30 days with no member logging in.
- A member can ask NCSOFT to take or move the Legion Master role when the master hasn't logged in for 30 days or has a suspension of 90 days or more.
Deleting your own character
- Restorable once per account if deleted by mistake: the account owner asks the customer center within 15 days.
What gets you banned: NCSOFT's sanctions table
From the AION 2 Operation Policy (Article 6, plaync.com, read 2026-10-24). Each step is the penalty for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th offense. NCSOFT can go straight to a harder step for serious cases, or apply a lighter one.
