- Small mistakes can be cleansed or healed. Big mechanic failures kill anyway, and then it's a res.
- Early on, Global players won't know the mechanics, so expect to heal more. Debuffs still come first.
Stigmas: Global allows 4 at a time (TW now has 6)
- Light of Protection: PvE damage plus resilience for you and the party, from the base level
- Resurrection
- Earth's Punishment / Retribution: at stigma level 5 it guarantees crits on Condemnation, which resets on crit. This is your main damage engine
- Noble Aura: constant damage. Alternatives: Prayer of Reinforcement, or Absolution / Benevolence if the group needs more healing
Rotation and keybinds (in-game macro only)
- Right mouse: the debuffs.
- Weakening Mark: lowers the target's damage and defense.
- Chains of Torment: lowers its damage resistance.
- Earth's Punishment: crit for Condemnation, plus double attack, defense and damage for the party as it levels.
- Left mouse: spam basic attacks, or weave them with Judgment through the in-game macro (an animation cancel).
- On TW right now, plain auto-attack without Judgment does more damage per target. Test this on Global.
- Hold both buttons to keep Condemnation resetting and debuffs refreshed. Use other skills, heals and cleanses as needed.
- Get Healing Light to level 16 early as the emergency heal.
- Specializations: Cleanse on Radiant Restoration, move speed on Light of Regeneration.
- [Author, comments] You never need to target to heal. All Cleric heals are AoE.
Passives that matter in PvE
- Empyrean Lord's Grace: crit chance plus extra damage each second. [Author, comments] It also gives double-hit chance.
- Earth's Mercy: crit damage.
- Healing Enhancement: scales heals with attack.
Stats and arcana
- Stats: attack, crit and double attack as high as possible, while keeping the accuracy minimum for each content tier. Stack Illusion for cooldown reduction.
- Arcana: use the 4-piece Vigor set (Primal Vigor; mana is a non-issue unless you spam Judgment). The video's names differ from the game's: "Glass" is the Chalice, "energy set" is Vigor (see Arcana cards).
- Chalice (Time) for combat speed
- Parchment (Life) for HP
- Compass (Freedom) for accuracy
- Mirror (Illusion) for cooldown reduction
- From the magic set, only the Bell (Destruction) for attack.
- If you have too much accuracy, swap the Compass for a crit card and give up the 4-piece bonus.
From the comments
- [Author] Leveling advice: "You HAVE TO do literally every quest, main and side", because a lot of combat power is locked behind them.
- A PvP Cleric guide is promised after launch.
